Trim is the sugar leaf and small fragments collected during the manicuring process of our flower. While not suitable for smoking on its own, quality trim is rich in trichomes and cannabinoids, making it ideal for extractions, butter and oil infusions, tinctures, and other DIY projects where visual appearance is irrelevant and cannabinoid content is what matters.
Our trim is not waste material — it is a deliberately collected byproduct from our best flower batches. We do not mix in stems, fan leaves, or non-trichome material. The result is trim with meaningful cannabinoid content at a fraction of the price of whole flower.

What is THCA?
THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in raw cannabis. It is non-psychoactive in its raw form and is federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill.

THCA Trim — FAQ
Trim consists of the sugar leaves trimmed from buds during manicuring. These leaves are coated in trichomes and contain meaningful cannabinoid levels. Shake is the small bud fragments and loose trichomes that collect at the bottom of bags. We sell trim specifically, not shake or mixed material.
Trim is excellent for making cannabutter, infused coconut oil, tinctures, dry ice hash, bubble hash, and rosin. You can also use it for tea infusions. Because trim is less visually appealing but still rich in trichomes, it is the most cost-effective starting material for any extraction or infusion project.
A common starting ratio is 7 to 14 grams of trim per 100g of butter, depending on the desired potency and the cannabinoid content of your trim. Check the lab results for your specific batch to calculate dosing. We recommend starting with less and increasing in subsequent batches based on your results.
